Julio graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at Western University (formerly University of Western Ontario) in 2011. He is also a graduate from the University of Toronto, where he completed his Honours Bachelor of Science in 2009. Julio treats a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions using techniques that have been proven to be effective in current research. His main interests lie in manual therapy, exercise prescription, and acupuncture/dry needling.

He completed McMaster University's Medical Acupuncture Program in 2012. He is a FCAMPT Manual Therapist certified by the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Julio joined the Lifemark – River Ridge team in 2012, where he has successfully treated a large number of sport injuries, car accident injuries, and work related injuries among many other orthopedic conditions. In his free time, Julio enjoys hiking, fly fishing, and snowboarding.
