About
Leah completed her education at Queen’s University and graduated in 2013 with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She also has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University. She is registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapist (COTO) and is a current member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT).
As an Occupational Therapist, Leah has the privilege of working with the “whole” person. She believes that all factors of a person’s life are important to consider in recovery from an injury including cognitive, emotional, physical, and spiritual factors. Leah has special interest in concussion management, cognitive retraining, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and is a certified provider of the Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP), which is used to assist clients with pain and psychosocial barriers to return to work.
