About
Sydney recently completed a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University, after completing both a diploma as a rehabilitation therapy assistant at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree in community rehabilitation and disability studies at the University of Calgary.
She has gained a wide variety of valuable fieldwork experience spanning from transitioning young adults with developmental delays into the workplace to supporting clients returning home after life changing injuries. These experiences have ignited her passion for the mental health space and supporting clients through transitional periods. She is also a strong advocate for the occupational therapy role in the primary care space, and is looking forward to increasing her work in trauma informed care.
Outside the clinic Sydney is an avid reader, hiker, and yogi, who can appreciate a great cup of coffee!
