Aqeela is a dual Physiotherapy license holder in Ontario and Quebec (2021). She has completed the University of Toronto bridging Program (2015), and holds a PTA diploma from Mohauk College (2000).

An internationally educated physiotherapist, Aqeela has experience in treating and working with patients with neurological, musculoskeletal and geriatric conditions, sports injuries and post- surgical recovery. She has worked in a number of different settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and nursing/retirement homes.

Aqeela is also registered with the WSIB and has expertise in motor vehicle accident (MVA). She has been working with LifeMark PT Health since November 2021, and has taken a number of developmental courses to improve the services she can provide to patients. These include concussion, rectus diastasus (lower back/ pelvic pain), incontinence issues, pediatrics, K- Taping, bracing, and cupping
