About
Radu is a Physiotherapist who has played competitive tennis and basketball, which as a lifelong athlete has exposed him to the world of physical rehabilitation as a patient where he initially noticed the benefits of active rehabilitation and physiotherapy from an early age.
His passion for health and fitness has led him to complete his Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario after receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo. Additionally, Radu was a Teacher’s Assistant for the School of Anatomy lab at Waterloo University where he helped teach anatomy.
Radu has experience in a variety of settings and patient demographics, including neurological patients, acute care patients, athletes, and in orthopaedic settings and community care. Radu is a firm believer in empowering patients to restore function and reach their goals through individualized evidence-based treatment approaches, manual therapy, active rehabilitation and education. Priding himself as a lifelong learner, he plans to receive training in acupuncture and dry needling.
Outside of work, Radu can be found enjoying the outdoors, travelling, reading, and always looking to try out new restaurants and unique dining experiences.
